In this, Sierra’s 33rd year of driving up employment for adults with disabilities, we welcomed fifty-one onsite guests and twenty-two online participants to our annual event! Thank you to those who united “to do together what none of us can do alone – drive up employment!”

In 2022, post-pandemic, our Academy became REMOTE statewide and continues to prepare PA OVR customers for office careers of their choice. Appreciation to the employers and graduates who came out to share their personal stories with our staff, board, and guests.

Food, cake and fellowship were consumed by all, along with motivation and inspiration given by Sierra board member/civil rights advocate, Linda Dezenski who read from her book – Persistence– Living an Authentic Life with a Disability. (Available on Amazon)
